My students range from absolute beginner to advanced, and include both those who like to sing for their personal enjoyment, as well as those who may be planning to pursue a career in music.
My voice studio provides a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment in which to foster a love of music, as well as develop stage presence, healthy and effective vocal technique, musicality, confidence, and self esteem, which carries beyond the stage into everyday life.
In my twenty plus years as a voice teacher and choir director, I have helped hundreds of people find their voice and develop the confidence to share beautiful music with the world.
I am a classically trained singer with over 25 years of professional performance experience, in venues throughout New England, Europe, The Middle East and South Africa, as well as Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center, NY. I am well versed in classical repertoire, American musical theater, and popular music genres. As a voice teacher in New York, most of my students regularly participated in and achieved an "Outstanding" rating at the Annual New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) festival. Many of my students have received leading roles in local and school musical theatre productions, as well as performing in concerts and participating in church choirs and community choral groups.
